About the Solar Plexus Chakra

The solar plexus is where the self meets the world. It is the chakra of agency, the felt sense that you have a will and that your will matters. In a culture that rewards constant productivity, the solar plexus is often overworked and undernourished: forced into action without being honored as a real source of inner authority. Citrine, tiger's eye, pyrite, and yellow jasper are the classic stones here, all carrying the warm color of sunlight on metal. Their work is not to make you louder. It is to help you locate the steady center inside you that already knows the answer.

This center governs personal power, will, confidence, digestion, agency, and the capacity to act on what you know.

Signs the Solar Plexus Chakra is open

You make decisions without endlessly looping. You can say no kindly. Your gut feels engaged in the world rather than knotted by it. Confidence is quiet, not performative.

Signs of imbalance

Chronic indecision, people-pleasing, digestive trouble, perfectionism, a brittle confidence that collapses under criticism, or anger that arrives long after the moment passed.

Daily practices

  • Stand in the morning sun for five minutes with the crystal at the solar plexus.
  • Before a difficult conversation, hold the stone and rehearse a single clean sentence of your truth.
  • Pair crystal work with a strong core practice, even a daily plank for thirty seconds.
  • Notice every time you say yes when you mean no, without judging it. Awareness comes first.
